NKAGISENG MATSHIDISO MILLICENT MODUKA – Owner and Principal Attorney
Ms. Moduka holds a B. Proc and an LLB degree from the University of South Africa (Unisa).
She was admitted as an attorney in 1994 after serving her period of articles at Baltie Abbott Attorneys in Ga-Rankuwa. She also served there as professional assistant before joining the firm Mashobane, Moduka & Partners as a partner in 1995 until June 2000.
She was a founding member of the firm Moduka More Attorneys where she served from the year 2000 until December 2011 when she decided to establish MODUKA ATTORNEYS.
With 26 years in practice, Ms Moduka has extensive experience in litigation and has litigated in the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal and litigation has always been her passion.
Her understanding and experience in Civil Litigation, diligence and commitment to excellence, has enabled the firm to develop winning strategies and to diligently represent its clients in all litigation matters.
She is a member of the disciplinary committee of the Legal Practice Council and sits in disciplinary proceedings.
NOBESOTHO MOLETE – Candidate Attorney
Nobesotho joined the firm on the 01st August 2019 as a candidate attorney. She holds a Bcom Law and LLB degrees from the University of South Africa. She is currently registered for Honors in Business Management and Master’s degree in Banking Law at the University of Pretoria.
She mainly assists in the Administrative and Constitutional Law division of Moduka Attorneys. She also assists with legal drafting, research and attending court.
MAELE PATIENCE PHOKU – Paralegal
Patience joined the firm in July 2019. She holds a National Diploma in Paralegal from Tshwane University of Technology as well as an Advance Diploma in Insolvency Law from University of Pretoria. She is currently registered for BA in Criminology with the University of South Africa.
She is the go to in the liquidation and Insolvency department of the firm. She also assists with investigations, drafting and preparation of National Gambling Board matters.
LYDIA KHUTOANE – Legal Secretary
Lydia has been in the employ of Moduka Attorneys since its establishment. She was previously employed by Mashobane Moduka & Partners from 1995 until the year 2000 when she joined Moduka More Attorneys which she served for 10years.
She has a Diploma in Typing and Secretarial Skills with Computer Software and Word Processing. She attended a LEAD Course in client care and Office Administration held in Pretoria during 2019. She holds vast experience in the Legal Secretarial environment and has a goal driven personality.
JACKSON MOGASHOA – Admin Clerk
He has been in the employ of MODUKA ATTORNEYS as an Admin Clerk since 2017. He holds a grade 12 certificate and a code 8 driver’s license. He also attended a LEAD course in client care and office administration held in Pretoria during 2019. He assists with administrative duties in the office as well as service and delivery of documents for the firm and tracing of Punters in matters outsourced to the firm by the National Gambling Board.
